Below is a screen shot showing what the application and sequencer looks like after adding and dividing notes.
Presented as a traditional grid like step sequencer and spanning 2 bars, notes can by quickly added on each beat or step by double clicking with the mouse.
To facilitiate tuplets and polyrythms each grid square may be sub-divided to give more steps. Whereas a conventional step sequencer would show 32 steps over 2 bars, Molten is more dynamic. Starting with 8 steps or 4 beats per bar, each step may be divided up to 9 times for a total of 72 steps.
Basic operation:
* Click on a grid square and press the number keys 1 to 9 to divide the beat.
* Click on a note and press the number keys 1 to 9 to divide the note.
* Click on a note and drag up and down to change the note's velocity.
* Use Option + number key to divide and insert notes.
* Use Control + number key to clear existing notes and divide the grid.
Refer to the Forum for more detailed operation including sync-ing with external gear and Logic.
Each row represents a note starting with C1 on the bottom row and spanning 2 octaves with controls for mute, solo and trigger.
